Description

In 2007 an the former military airport Interlaken was stage for an air race. Take the roll of one pilot in the Pitts S-2B or Extra 330LX and fly through the course at quickly as possible in the ground proximity. Four different difficulty levels are available, from showing the gates and hints to showing nothing at all. Apparently it is possible to get under 1 Minute and 30 seconds with an unmodified Extra in the aerofly FS. The real world pilots do the course in less than 01:11, which is due to the fact that they use only single seater aircraft with even more power full engines than usual. Warning: this challenge is really difficult and can be frustrating if you select a too high difficult without knowing the flight path well. And it can also be quite addicting 🙂

Installation

  • Download and decompress the zip-archive
  • Move the contents of the “to aeroflyFS main install folder” to the aerofly FS Installation-Folder, which typically is located at “%PROGRAMFILES%\aerofly FS”, into the sub-directories as given by the file-structure in it.
  • Move the contents of the “to aeroflyFS user-folder” to the aerofly FS User-Folder, which typically is located at “C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Documents\aerofly FS”, into the sub-directories as given by the file-structure in it.
  • In the aerofly FS simulator select Challenges and then scroll down to the very bottom. You will find 5 different challenges, one for the Pitts S-1B and four different difficulties for the Extra 330LX stunt plane.
